Trey Jackson: How did I get here

Trey Jackson is a little lost, staring at her work sheets over and over again doesn't seem to be working. As the words start to blur together she remembers him. "Ugh, not now Keith, stay out of my head" Trey says out loud trying to stop the memory of her ex-love coming back to haunt her. That asshole took too much of her life and doesn't need to come back for more any time soon. She puts her papers down and heads out of her newly decorated robins egg blue office and jogs down the stairs to the kitchen. She opens her shoulder to cry on; the fridge and looks around for a late night snack. A glass bottle of milk, source limited edition vanilla yogurt, salad, and an almost finished platter of fruit peers back at her willing her to close the fridge and move on. She reaches for the salad, thinks about the preparation and reaches for the yogurt instead. "I don't know why I do groceries when all I come home with is nothing!" she says to herself as she walks spoon and yogurt in hand to the front door. Trey looks outside into the cold winter night and wishes her 2012 would offer more then she was experiencing now. Why couldn't she find a decent man? Why was the universe playing with her emotions like the cheap doll no one wanted to play with? She was a tired and frankly very close to being bitter. She is about to turn from the door when a shadowy figure steps onto her front porch and rings the bell. Who could that be? The question silently pops and fizzles out of her mind as she sees her Keith, her ex standing in the cold waiting for her to open the door....

STAY TUNED.......

Project Time

Imagining myself flying over the ocean and landing in the sands of Dubai is the only thing keeping me from going crazy indoors due to the lack of heat! That and redecorating my apartment ofcourse. Frequent trips to Homesense and Ikea have really got my designer juices flowing and I think I'm ready to take on a design task! I found this amazing "office" on Country Living.com that was basically built in a closet the person wasn't using. The site gives you a step by step how to on how the person did it and good because God knows I need every bit of direction I can get!
The use of wallpaper here is amazing, I know at one point wallpaper was considered the devil, but now its more seen as a great and easy way to bring some life and pattern into an otherwise boring space. The blue colour is what caught my eye, the whites and pinks blend in so well I personally love the scheme. Of course I would never have this door closed, I'd want everyone to see! I dub this..."My Dream Closet No Doubt" :)
