Relationships are very finicky things. One person in your life that you share majority of your time with. That person who you'd rather spend your holidays with over your family. The person you say " I love you " whenever the emotion takes you. After knowing all this why don't they last long? Why do we devote ourselves to one person when that one person isn't sure if that's what they want to do. Yes we all have our individual problems and compromise is key to make it work. But what if both of you aren't on the same page, shouldn't the other be grown enough to say I don't think this is working anymore? Is it fear of being alone? Surely it couldn't be because you got them so why can't you find someone else. Don't lead your "loved one" on, if you truly have love and respect for them you would cut the strings and allow them to find another. However you do it easy or hard the hurt is far worse the longer it continues.
